The Door Won't Budge by QuintonQuill The Door Won't Budge by QuintonQuill
Remember in Silent Hill 2 when Pyramid Head does the two mannequins over the sink while James peeps from the closet? Well, this was happening in the room across the hall... a shame the doorknob is broken. :B

What can I say? I'm sure you can guess by now I have a strong fondness for the... 'unique.' I love monsters and the 'bubblehead' Nurse is one of my all time favorite female monsters.

If you are wondering how can she laugh? Remember, in game she moans, shrieks, etc. She should be very capable of providing a hearty laugh for us.

I always thought those bubblehead nurse were erotic. Such a shame about their faces though. At least they're getting some much deserved tickle love. This makes them seem like there's still something very human and womanly about them. Not monsters at all. Just misunderstood.

The designs for the bubblehead nurses became more sexualized as the games progressed. The second game is when the concept of monsters being manifestations people's repressed 'problems' really took hold. Though their design and sin is not made clear in game leaving room for speculation as to what horrors some of the creatures represent to the main character or to the character they torment. It has been ages since these concepts and ideas have been on my mind so honestly I can't quite recall what the nurse represents. To some extent it could be a visual symbol of the emotional toil his relationship with his wife turned into as she was hospitalized; becoming marred, tarnished as they slowly became strangers to one another. The face being obscured grotesquely like a love long gone south. As for future installments of the series, the nurse became a reoccurring demon which is... strange... as I felt they are rather particular to James. Most notably in Homecoming; the nurses lanky bodies turned into a shapely figure but oddly in some unique lighting you can see a fetal baby in the stomach. I can't recall what that means to the plot of Homecoming.
Ha ha ha, as much fun as this picture is... the nurse is still most definitely a repressed demon to some addled disheveled mind... too far from human. ;) Regardless, where is the harm in having fun with our demons?

That's weird... that's obscenely depraved. I love it.

Depraved? Obscenely depraved? It's only tickles good sir! It would be depraved if the nurse were stripped of clothes and violated by other long tongue monster dogs.

Maybe depraved is not the proper word (sorry, being italian in an english WWW it's hard!). Seeing sensual in something disturbing and unfamiliar, more like an abomination than a human, i find it perverted. Not in a negative sense or, at least, not wholly. Well, if I saw negative in perversion I think I should close myself in a hospital. Not judging. Not doing moralism. Just trying to understand a little bit more.
(I must to admit that the nurse stripped and violated tickles my fantasies... OK, I'm obscenely depraved)

The 'mannequin' from Silent Hill 2 paranerds.com/wp-content/uploa… Essentially it is a pair of legs with another pair of legs on top.

No and no. I think I'll keep drawing at my own pace. I'll simply be open to ideas and suggestions from other folks.
